Assume that a volcano erupted 100,000 years ago in the Pacific Ocean about 10 miles south of the Hong Kong island. It led to formation of a new island called the NHK island. A recent study revealed that the bats living in the NHK island were originally migrated from the Hong Kong island about 80,000 years ago. However, the bats in the NHK island have evolved into a different species from the species now living in Hong Kong.
