1-An employee has been off work for 14 days already because of self-quarantine since he recently returned from international travel to China, due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. When he returns to work, he spends most of his time researching COVID-19 symptoms and occurrences around the globe. Now, he has confronted two other employees, who happened to cough in his presence, and told them that they need to quarantine themselves as well to not infect others.¡ His direct manager has come to you for advice. What disciplinary action can be taken towards the employee who told others to quarantine themselves?¡ In this stressful time, when no one really knows what is going on, should we really be disciplining employees who are looking out for the health and well-being of other employees?¡ The other two employees have now complained to you, the HR Manager, feeling that they were discriminated based on their age. They are both over the age of 40. Should the employee who told them to quarantine themselves be disciplined for age discrimination? Why or why not?
